After School Matters

As students return to school, it’s a time to remember the importance of not just education, but the programs and opportunities teachers and schools provide in the community. The more engaged a student is in studies and extracurricular programs the more likely they are to chase their potential.

After School Matters is non-profit organization that provides life-changing after-school and summer program opportunities to nearly 19,000 Chicago high school teens each year. Their mission is to provide Chicago public high school teens opportunities to explore and develop their talents, while gaining critical skills for work, college and beyond.

Through hands-on programs, skilled professional instructors, and continued improvement, After School Matters provides teens with opportunities to discover their potential and find their future.
